Jordon Ahrndt of KEKAJO Welsh Ponies has never been quite satisfied with the ponies in his own barn. When we are at shows, he tends to win over the hearts of the ladies who's ponies he admires most. We would like to thank these special gals and their ponies for allowing Jordon to have a little extra fun at the Heart of Minnesota Welsh shows. Thanks to Amanda Ley and SDL Diamond Tiara for giving Jordon some great riding tips and for giving him a little more riding confidence. Also, thank you to Beth Stark and Bluerocks Bella Dama for allowing Jordon to take her in the in hand trail class. They had a ball together. These ponies and others have inspired Jordon to start training a pony of his own. After the Heart of Fall show, Jordon went out to our pasture to get CLEKAJO Legendary Sunrise. Since that time, Jordon and Sunny have grown quite fond of each other. This past fall, Jordon was very surprised when Grandpa Chuck signed over his half of Sunny to Jordon, making him part owner in this very special pony. I don't think I've seen a bigger grin on a face the day we sent those papers in. Look for them to start showing together in 2009.
